Tumbled headstones peeking from damp overgrowth, fog, and a house that's there one moment and gone the next. Scent notes include soil, moss, forest floor, myrrh, and white musk. Bachelor's Grove Cemetery in Cook County, Illinois, is the subject of many tales of the paranormal, from sightings of ghostly figures to flashing lights and even a disappearing house. The cemetery has sadly been the target of vandalism and was neglected for many years. Our homage to this sacred space is an atmospheric fragrance of damp, dark earth, the scent of wet leaves and decaying trees, and moss on cool stone, supported by myrrh and a ghostly white musk.
