*Stares at lamp* Notes of smoky black tea, juniper berries, beeswax, ginger, oakmoss, hay, black peppercorn, clove leaf, ylang ylang, agarwood, patchouli, dark rum, sweet red berries, and musk. Mothman is a cryptid associated with a series of mysterious events that occurred in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, in the late 1960s. The creature is described as a humanoid figure with a massive wingspan and hypnotic red eyes, able to travel at speeds in excess of 100 mph. The Mothman phenomenon gained widespread attention when the Silver Bridge, connecting Point Pleasant to Ohio, collapsed on December 15, 1967, resulting in the loss of 46 lives. Some speculate that Mothman's presence was a harbinger of the tragedy. While the sightings eventually diminished, Mothman became ingrained in popular (and queer) culture and has become an enduring legend, attracting enthusiasts and curiosity-seekers to Point Pleasant to this day.
