A particular verse of the song goes: “もどろみの中で 生温いコーラに madoromi no naka denama-nurui koora ni ここでないどこかを 夢見たよ koko de nai dokoka wo yumemita yo 教室の窓の外に kyoushitsu no mado no soto ni 電車に揺られ 箱慣れる朝に densha ni yurare hakobareru asa ni” which translates to: “Amid the dreams, In the lukewarm cola, I saw a dream Of somewhere that isn’t here. Outside the classroom window, On the swaying train, In the mornings carried away.” Inspired by these lyrics, the scent of Star Trails was created to reflect those dreamlike images.
