What form shall I take tonight? A horse? A goat? A cat? A hare? Scent notes include raw pumpkin, dark green vines, violet, earth, and a touch of spice. The Púca (also called Pooka, Phouka, Pwca, or Puka) is a mischievous, shapeshifting spirit of Irish origin. They're closely tied to Samhain/Halloween, as crops left after this date were thought by some to be "touched by the fairies" and unfit to consume. Some farmers would leave a "Púca's share" of their crops to appease the spirits. Púca are known to enjoy tormenting those in their cups, so if you're a drinker, beware!
